What we are, and what we are not
Water Damage Services Knoxville is a referral website run by the site operator. We are not a restoration company. We do not employ technicians, own drying equipment or do restoration work.
When you call or send a request, we connect you with an independent restoration provider who accepts calls for your area. That provider is a separate business. They decide whether they can take the job, when they can come and what it costs.
How referrals work
- You call the number on this site or send the request form.
- Your call or request goes to a restoration provider who takes calls for your ZIP code, when one is available.
- The provider talks to you directly about the damage, timing and price.
- You decide whether to hire them. You are never obliged to.
Coverage changes from day to day. Not every request can be matched, and the provider always confirms whether they can reach you.
How this site makes money
Restoration providers or call networks may pay us when they receive a call or request through this site. Calling and sending a request is free for you. Being paid per call does not mean we have inspected, licensed or approved the provider's work.
Before you hire anyone
Check the provider yourself. Ask for proof of liability insurance, ask which water damage training their technicians hold, and ask for the scope and pricing method in writing. Our checklist on the homepage lists what to look for.
Tennessee requires a contractor license for many building jobs over set dollar amounts. You can look up a license through the Tennessee license verification service.
About the content on this site
The guides on this site explain general practice in water damage restoration and point to public sources such as the EPA, Ready.gov, FloodSmart.gov and Knox County's KGIS maps. They are not legal, insurance or engineering advice. Your insurance policy wording and the provider who inspects your property have the final say.
We do not publish testimonials, star ratings or certifications we cannot verify. If you see something on this site that is wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
Referral disclosure
